If you decide to pledge your final loyalty to the MinutemenFaction in Fallout 4, then you will no longer be able to complete quests or contact allies of otherfactions. You will need to complete a few quests that require you to take out the entirety of the Institute and (possibly) the Brotherhood of Steel. Be prepared and save your game before jumping into this ending if you want to see the other outcomes!
As mentioned above, you may or may not have to wipe out the Brotherhood of Steel if you pursue the Minutemen scenario. To avoid this, do everything that the Brotherhood of Steel asks for and don't make them into enemies. If the Brotherhood of Steel is hostile towards you, you will then need to take down the Prydwen with the artillery you have at the Castle stronghold. You will also need to defend the Castle from a Brotherhood of Steel assault.
With the Institute, you will assault the Institute HQ with the Minutemen and destroy it. This will block any entrance to The Institutelocation going forward. The quest is fairly quick, but the outcome wipes out The Institute and makes you the hero of the Commonwealth.

So, the minimum PC requirements for Fallout 4 are out and look thusly:
Minimum
Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent
8 GB RAM
30 GB free HDD space
NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent
NVIDIA GTX 780 3GB/AMD Radeon R9 290X 4GB or equivalent
So, I'm curious what people think of this. Personally, my desktop exceeds minimum requirements but isn't nearly as beefy as the 'recommended' system, which I personally think is ridiculous. Why is the recommended system a $300 CPU paired with a $500 graphics card? This game is designed to run on consoles, right? The Witcher 3 also had similarly inflated specs, but my subpar laptop has no problem running it on low-medium settings (and it still looks great.) The game also doesn't seem to be well optimized for AMD (e.g.,a Radeon 7870 is considerably more powerful than a NVidia GTX 550Ti.) This concerns me for my laptop, which has a Radeon 8950M.
So, will you be upgrading your system for Fallout 4? Are you below min spec, but you're going to try it anyway to see if plays OK? Do you think the graphics seen in the trailers are representative of FO4 on a console or the 'recommended' system?

Bethesda has announced the minimum PC system requirements you'll need in order to run Fallout 76. You'll be able to try Fallout 76 on PC for the first time during the October 30 beta, and the progress you make will carry over into the full game when it launches.
The PC specs for Fallout 76 are more demanding than the ones for Fallout 4, so if your setup could barely run the latter, you might want to consider upgrading before playing the former. At the very minimum, you'll need to be playing on Windows 7 and running on an Intel i5 Core processor. Bethesda recommends you go Windows 8.1 or 10, though, and run the game on an Intel Core i7 processor.

The minimum and recommended PC specs can be found on Fallout 76's FAQ page, but we've listed everything you need to know below.
The second Fallout 76 beta is exclusive for Xbox One and starts on October 27 at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM BST. This beta won't go for as long as the first one, only lasting two hours. However, another two-hour Xbox One beta will start the very next day at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST. The next beta after that is the one scheduled for October 30, and it will be live for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
Bethesda tweeted out that the first Xbox One beta for Fallout 76 was an 'amazing start.' You can watch us play through the first beta, which we thought went pretty well all things considered. We did suffer one game crash and there was a bit of trouble when we tried to join an in-game party, but we only had severe frame rate drops when there were dozens of enemies on the screen. Prior to the beta's launch, Bethesda published a statement that lag issues are to be expected.
Fallout 76 launches on November 14 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
